Late update on NE Show that i went with qh last sat.
Held at Marina Bay, its the first NDP preview of the year and me and qh had the chance to be among the first to see the performances and of course the fireworks!! WOOOHOOO!!!!
Reaching dere was a prob at first, but thnx to the all-knowing God we managed to find our way, and it was pretty easy some more! hahaha!! not much ppl were queueing at 3plus so we made our way to mac for qh's lunch and my no ice green tea. ^^ went back to the entry point then there were like 10+ rows for ppl to queue and let a guy tearS ur tickets and let you thru to the closed off area leading to Marina Bay. if ql was there, it would take her millions of years just deciding which row to enter since there's so many diff guys to choose frm and get close to. hahahaha!!
Anw, we randomly went to the middle row, had our tickets torE and let thru. walked some distance to the Green seats entry point (btw, the tickets are green in color, meaning our seats will be at the green area.), got our nice nice tote bags and went to sit down at the roasting hot seats under the scotching sun at 3plus 4pm.
Camwhored all the time, everything oso snap a picture of it. got one couple v cute. one took picts using a phone and the other used a camera, then they both stand up and stood in almost identical stances while taking picts on diff sides. so sweet! too bad they moved too fast for us to snap a pict of them ;p
If i rmbed correctly, choir was the first to perform and then the marching contingent start parading out to the floating platform which is also (wia) Marina Bay's stage. they are pretty neat and cool, just like how they are supposed to be but they look pretty tiny frm me and qh's seats though. all the brigades, police, navy, air forces appeared in front of the audience. (no, they didnt 'poof' and appear suddenly. of course they parade in!)
The ministers and president appearance were so dots. The announcement went smth like this, "Please rise and welcome Our Excellency Mr S.R. Nathan. Stimulated." loxxx, that stimulated so extra and funny lor, but its really stimulated lah. ^^
Highlights of the show includes the aerial performances by Singapore Air Forces The Black Knights if i'm not wrong, an artistically nice and new performance which i really like, a kite-like flying machine operated by men on those super cool armed forces boats and of course FIREWORKS!!!

RANmeowNESS: It's not crazy to miss learning at Top Table, its just that the people and times we all had are different. I had fun.
